AGNES-LO ÅKERLIND is the creator behind some of the most innovative and successful TV-series of the last decade in Sweden.
Time and again she has proven herself to be one of the strongest and most interesting storytellers of our time. Equipped with an extraordinary eye for the contemporary, she has portrayed outsiders in “Danne & Bleckan”, feminism and DJ-culture in “Rebecca och Fiona” as well as recruited thousands of new country fans through the massive success series “Jill’s veranda”. She has also worked as a script consultant for the documentaries about Young Lean and Avicii premiering 2024.
Agnes-Lo is currently studying screenwriting at the reputable Alma Scriptwriting Academy, graduating early 2024.
In her upcoming work she will continue to explore all aspects of youth culture but in the drama genre; writing and creating captivating stories with a strong visual identity. She knows how to find strong characters, is interested in the human psyche, and fascinated by the darker side of human interactions and relations.
Agnes-Lo is currently developing a drama series for SVT.
