In 2025–2026, Chamdin served as the Creative Director for Ghost’s Skeletour World Tour—a global arena tour by the Billboard No. 1 chart-topping band Ghost, acclaimed for its groundbreaking stage design and cinematic storytelling. His latest video Satanized, quickly became the No. 1 top trending video worldwide. Through his continued partnership with Ghost, Chamdin has surpassed 100 million views on music videos, establishing himself as a key creative voice and a recognized name within the genre.
In 2024, Chamdin made his debut as a ballet director and librettist withGustavia, a groundbreaking production that premiered at the Royal Swedish Opera. Starring Paris Opera Ballet étoile Guillaume Diop in the title role, the ballet brings to life the extraordinary story of Gustav Badin—an enslaved West African child brought to Sweden in the 18th century who rose to prominence at the Swedish royal court. Gustavia has been hailed by critics as a bold and visually arresting work, praised for its powerful storytelling and innovative staging and is recognized as one of the most successful ballet productions ever staged at the Royal Swedish Opera. Guillaume Diop’s performance as Badin has received particular praise for its intensity and nuance, drawing international attention.
In 2023, Chamdin directed Börje – The Journey of a Legend, a six-part biographical drama series that chronicles the life of Swedish hockey legend Börje Salming. The series follows Salming's journey from his youth in Kiruna to his groundbreaking career with the Toronto Maple Leafs, highlighting his role as one of the first Europeans to play in the NHL. The series has been praised for its portrayal of Salming's resilience and the challenges he faced, both on and off the ice. It features a stellar cast, including Valter Skarsgård, Hedda Stiernstedt, and Jason Priestley, and showcases the enduring legacy of one of hockey's most iconic figures.The series received nominations for Best Direction and Best Production at the Venice TV Awards, and nominated Best Series at the Swedish Kristallen and setting a new record as the most-watched original series premiere on Viaplay in Sweden
In 2020, Chamdin created and directed the hit thriller series Partisan, starring Fares Fares. Partisan was coveted the Best Series at CANNESERIES. Nominated for Best Screenplay, Best Music, Best Actor in Cannes. Also nominated for Best Series at Venice TV-Awards and Best Non-English language Drama Series at C21 Wards London. Partisan was also selected by Variety Magazine as one of the Best International TV Series of the year.
Chamdin’s cinematic debut was the black-and-white feature film God Willing (2006), starring Nina Persson from The Cardigans. The film featured music byThe White Stripesand competing for Best Film in over 15 international film festivals world wide including including at the Chicago Film Festival, Miami, Taipei, and Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. For God Willing, Chamdin was honored with the prestigious Kodak Visionary Award.
His second feature film, Cornelis (2010), starring Hank von Hell, opened at No. 1 at both the Swedish and Norwegian box offices. Cornelis remains among the most-viewed Swedish films on Netflix and David Dencik was nominated for best supporting actor at the Swedish Guldbagge Awards.
Chamdin's early breakthrough came through directing music videos for Infinite Mass (where he also performed), leading to his MTV Award win for The Cardigans' "You're The Storm" — Best Music Video at the MTV Awards 2004.
In the commercial world, Chamdin has directed major international campaigns for brands like H&M, IKEA, L'Oréal, Mango, Adidas and The Andy Warhol Exhibition, winning several awards for creativity and innovation working with Gisele Bündchen, Adriana Lima, Natasha Polly, Brian Ferry, Jamie Hince, Karlie Kloss, Lou Doillon, Carmen Electra, Jon Kortajarena, Abbey Lee, Ben Gorham amongs others.
In addition to his filmmaking career, Chamdin is a critically acclaimed musician and the frontman of the iconic hip-hop group Infinite Mass, which he co-founded in 1991. Over the years, he has collaborated with legendary producers such as QDIII (2Pac, Ice Cube) and MC Eiht (Compton’s Most Wanted), releasing four full-length albums. Among them is the standout single Bullet, featuring Roger Daltrey of The Who. Chamdin also led the rock band Mean Streets, produced by Nicke Andersson (The Hellacopters, Entombed), and was a member of the supergroup Snowracer, where he performed a duet with the legendary Emmylou Harris.
