The sister duo Hannah Widell and Amanda Schulman are entrepreneurs, authors, influencers, designers and TV personalities. However, they are probably best known for their prolific media company Perfect Day Media, as well as their weekly podcast Fredagspodden/The Friday Podcast.

Perfect Day Media was founded in 2011 and has, since its inception, produced Sweden’s most successful and influential podcasts. Among them are authors Alex Schulman and Sigge Eklund’s podcast Alex & Sigge, comedians and TV personalities Johanna Nordström and Edvin Törnblom’s Ursäkta/Excuse Me, as well as Hannah and Amanda’s own podcast.

In 2021, Perfect Day Media partnered with Pophouse Entertainment, partly owned by former Warner Music CEO Per Sundin and ABBA member Björn Ulvaeus. Hannah and Amanda are now, alongside Pophouse, expanding into new markets, genres, and creative fields to become the leading provider of entertainment and experiences for the wider public.

Hannah and Amanda have also written a book series called Två systrar/Two Sisters. The series includes Försoningen/The Reconciliation (2015), Flykten/The Escape (2016), and Förälskelsen/The Infatuation (2019). The trilogy follows the sisters Alicia and Vanessa, who, despite leading very different lives, fight the same demons as a result of their upbringing. In 2021, the book series was adapted to a Viaplay Original series, also called Two Sisters, produced by the Banijay-owned company Yellow Bird. The eight-episode series featured lead actresses Julia Ragnarsson and Dilan Gwyn, and was directed by Julia Lindström, who, together with Amy Black Ndiaye, also wrote the screenplay. MovieZine wrote in its review “Despite its eight short episodes, Two Sisters manages to keep the energy going and the events in full-blown swing right to the very end.”

Hannah and Amanda have also founded and currently run no fewer than three other businesses: the clothing brand Daisy Grace, the wine company Golden Year, and their highly successful beauty brand All I Am. The duo have thousands of followers on social media, where they share both the highs and the lows of real life.
