Simen Alsvik
Simen Alsvik is a seasoned director and showrunner. His filmography contains international hits like the Netflix original series Lilyhammer and the Nordic mythology drama Ragnarok.
His recent work includes directing the critically acclaimed thriller series The Nest for BBC One, which received sky-high ratings and widespread praise. He also served as lead director on Protection, a six-part drama centred on a detective heading a present-day Witness Protection unit. Produced by New Pictures for ITV and starring Siobhan Finneran (Happy Valley), the series became the most-watched show of the week, drawing over six million viewers in its first seven days.
Simen has won multiple awards for his work, both nationally and internationally.
