JOSEPHINE GENETAY'S AND PIOTR MARCINIAK'S Modus Operandi results in fast paced intense stories that always consist of characters whose backgrounds are conflicting yet has a natural draw to one another. Much like their own relationship. Whether they write drama-filled love stories or action-packed spy thrillers, their different experiences and perspectives in life make their storytelling compelling. Their passion for writing multi-dimensional characters and intricate plots often get them in trouble. Literally. Getting thrown out of various cafés and restaurants in Stockholm for arguing too loudly is more a rule then an exception. That, however, is a price they gladly pay in order to create their magic.
Josephine Genetay graduated with honors from New York University’s acclaimed Tisch School of the Arts with a bachelor’s degree of Fine Arts in 2001. She has worked at Miramax and HBO Films and has seven productions to her name as a theatre producer on London’s West End. Piotr Marciniak has a bachelor’s degree from the Stockholm Dramatic School of Arts. His most recent writing credits include the feature film “The Master Plan”, a reboot of the popular ”Jönssonligan” franchise, which was awarded the Audience Award for Feature Film at the Bucheon Film Festival, the hit mini-series “Inkognito”, which is currently being developed into an American remake by NBC as well as the short film “Bekas” which was awarded a Student Academy Award.
