IRAM HAQ

 
 

IRAM HAQ is a Norwgian-Pakistani filmmaker. Haq studied to become a an Art Director at Westerdals School of Communication.She became known in Norway as an actress when she in 2005 starred in the film ”Import - Eksport”. She also acted in the Varg-Veum films ”Borettslaget” and ” Berlinerpoplene”.  

Haq began directing in 2004 when she wrote the short “Trofast”. In 2009 she wrote and directed ”Skylappjenta” later selected at Sundance Film Festival. Her feature debut as both director and writer came 2013 with ”Jeg er din” and her latest feature, ”Hva vil folk si”, was awarded with the People’s critics award in 2018.
