Jakob Bjerkesjö is a screenwriter, author, director, and TV editor with over a decade of experience. Since 2012, he has worked as a director and editor in television and advertising, earning awards and nominations from the Emmy Awards, Kristallen, Guldägget and Spinn. 

In 2019, Jakob decided to pursue his childhood dream of working in comedy. He started an anonymous account on Instagram where he created memes and wrote jokes, which has since grown to become one of the largest in the country with hundreds of thousand followers. The success of the account led to mainstream media publicity, TV documentaries being made about him, and even the publication of his first book. In 2023, Jakob began his journey as a professional screenwriter and director, earning his first credits for En Häxas Handbok (SVT) and Bäst i Test (TV4). Earlier this year, he was selected to participate in Stockholm Talents 2025 with his passion project Geisk, a horror film rooted in Gotlandic folklore. He is currently working on several feature and short film projects, as well as writing, directing, and editing for television.
