JÖRGEN HJERDT

 
 

JÖRGEN HJERDT, Gothenburg born and Stockholm based, works as a playwright, novelist and screenwriter. 2015 his debut novel ”Befriad” (”Liberation”) (Weyler Publishing) was published and received with glowing reviews.

Jörgen has written both original work and adaptations for the stage and the screen, amongst others the Stockholm City Theatre and the Royal Dramatic Theatre. He created the acclaimed original drama ”Blå ögon” (”Blue Eyes”), a political drama/thriller TV-series (SVT).

Most recently Jörgen has written script and book adaptation for upcoming crime TV-series “STHLM Requiem” (TV4), based on Kristina Ohlssons popular books together with Pauline Wolff.

Jörgen is currently developing an original TV-series for Bron Studios (US) and for SVT (SE) together with Wolff. He is also collaborating with director Beata Gårdeler for an international feature and developing an original dramedy show with Åsa Lantz and Åsa Kalmér.
