The first part of the new Nora Storm crime series.

Criminologist Nora Storm is forced to leave Cambridge and return home to Kullaberg in Skåne, South Sweden, to take care of her seriously ill mother. In the fishing village of Arild, her quiet father and her old hometown await, where everything on the surface seems to be just as it always has been – peaceful and beautiful.

The tranquillity is shattered when an arson attack rocks the Kullabygden area. The victims of the flames have close ties to Vanessa Ceder, a successful interior designer whose life is in ruins.

Detectives Marie Borg and Lucas Silver cross paths with Nora and begin working together to stop the arsonist before more lives are lost. Soon they realise that the flames are only the beginning.
