Patrik Ehrnst is an accomplished Swedish screenwriter and producer with a background in journalism. He has an extensive career in television, contributing to a range of successful drama and comedy series.
Ehrnst is the creator and head writer for the Netflix drama series Skiftet (also known as The New Force), which is slated for 2025-2026 and explores the introduction of the first female police officers in Sweden in 1958. He also served as the head writer for the popular TV4 comedy series Solsidan in 2024.
His work on the SVT political satire Herr Talman includes roles as producer and screenwriter for the second season in 2022, and as an editor and screenwriter for its initial run in the same year. This series uniquely uses puppetry to caricature Swedish political leaders.
