SANDRA BEIJER is a Swedish screenwriter, creator, author and blogger.
She is one of Sweden’s best selling authors in the Young Adult genre, praised by both critics and readers for her heartfelt and honest storytelling. In her work she often covers themes such as coming of age, heartbreak and loneliness.
Sandra is currently in development as creator and headwriter for two tv series at major companies, as well as writing a commissioned play for a major theatre house.
Sandra’s recent work include working as a head writer and executive producer on her TV series “ALLT SOM BLIR KVAR” (All that is left), based on her second novel. Produced by Baluba for SVT, directed by Fanny Ovesen and main cast features Oscar Zia, Erik Enge and Madeleine Ferraud. The series premiered in 2022, received a nomination for Best Lead Actress at Kristallen, chosen as the 8 most interesting tv shows at MIP conference as well as being sold to the Scandinavian countries.

Her three novels to date are: Det handlar om dig (Rabén & Sjögren, 2014), Allt som blir kvar (Natur & Kultur, 2016) and Mellan oss (Natur & Kultur 2019). Before establishing herself as a writer, Sandra Beijer worked as a copywriter for agencies in Stockholm and New York.
In addition to writing fiction and scripts, she has also translated the Norwegian TV series SKAM to Swedish (published as a book series) as well as translated the best-selling poetry collection Mjölk & Honung / Milk & Honey by Rupi Kaur, from English to Swedish. Additionally, she has published short stories, a podcast drama called Burnin’ for Swedish Public Radio and several essays/columns for some of Sweden’s largest newspapers and magazines, such as Aftonbladet, Metro and Elle Magazine.
