Schiaffino Musarra (A.K.A. Schif) is an award-winning screenwriter, actor, director and producer. Born and raised in Atlanta Georgia, USA, educated in Boston, New York and Los Angeles, Schiaffino is now a Swedish/American citizen, living and working in Stockholm since 2006.
As a screenwriter, Schif is best known as the creator, head writer and lead actor of the internationally-acclaimed and award-winning TV-series We Got This. Schif’s writing style mixes political and social satire with comedy of the absurd, and is always suffused by his sense of humour.
We Got This was awarded the 2018 Series Mania Co-pro Pitch Competition Award as well as the 2020 European Script Award for best TV-series. The series’ success led to multiple international opportunities, and Schif has since worked as a screenwriter for clients including Warner Brothers US and Sony Pictures International. He is currently in development with two TV-series with international production companies.
As an actor, Schif has played roles in multiple award-winning TV-series such as Helt Perfect, Of Biblical Proportions, Finito, Lasse Majas detektivbyrå and, of course, We Got This. As both a writer and an actor, Schif considers these two professions as intrinsically linked. Being a writer who acts, as well as an actor who writes, means he can bring something exceptional to the table both in front of, and behind, the camera.
