Agnes-Lo Åkerlind is the creator behind some of the most innovative and successful TV series of the last decade in Sweden.

Time and again she has proven herself to be one of the strongest and most interesting storytellers of our time. Equipped with an extraordinary eye for contemporary culture, she has portrayed outsiders in Danne & Bleckan, explored feminism and DJ culture in Rebecca och Fiona, and recruited thousands of new country fans through the massively successful series Jill’s veranda. She has also worked as a script consultant for the documentaries about Yung Lean and Avicii, which premiered in 2024.

Agnes-Lo studied screenwriting at the reputable Alma Scriptwriting Academy, graduating in early 2024. In her upcoming work, she will continue to explore youth culture but within the drama genre, writing and creating captivating stories with a strong visual identity. She knows how to find strong characters, is interested in the human psyche, and is fascinated by the darker side of human interaction and relationships.
