Jessika Jankert

 

Jessika Jankert is a screenwriter based in Göteborg. Together with Lovisa Löwhagen, she created and wrote the TV drama Hashtag (2016, SVT). The series was nominated for Best Drama at Prix Europa, C21 Drama Awards and the Rose d'Or. Jessika and Lovisa were co-head writers for four seasons of the TV drama Lyckoviken (2020-2022, Viaplay), based on an original concept by the best-selling novelist Camilla Läckberg.

Jessika’s feature film debut was as a co-writer of So Damn Easy Going, which premiered in the main competition at Göteborg Film Festival in 2022. She also wrote two episodes of the TV drama Strandhotellet (2023, Viaplay).

Jessika developed and wrote the original script for the feature film Forever (2023), directed by Anders Hazelius and produced by SF Studios. It won the Audience Award and the Special Jury Prize at Zlín Film Festival 2023. Forever is now available on Netflix.
