Pål Ströbaek is a screenwriter, director, and producer. He has just finished serving as head writer on Evigt Edvin – a new full-length comedy show with Edvin Törnblom, touring 13 cities across Sweden in the spring of 2026. The show is about life, death, and the idea that hell is probably more fun than heaven. Pål came up with the idea and developed the script together with Edvin Törnblom, Edward af Sillén, and Daniel Rehn.

In 2026, Pål is also directing Markoolio gör det igen – a solo show premiering in October. The show tells the story of the Markoolio phenomenon: how an artist and a character developed, changed and eventually became almost the same person, moving between memories, the present and stories never previously shared.

Pål has extensive experience in television. His most prominent work was as screenwriter on Melodifestivalen 2025, hosted by Edvin Törnblom and Keyyo. He has also written for shows such as Idol and Let's Dance and directed Season 4 of Masked Singer Sverige.

He wrote and directed the hit monologue show Bögen är lös (i magen), starring Edvin Törnblom. The show tells Edvin's story and highlights what it's like to grow up as a gay man in the 21st century. It sold 50,000 tickets, toured 24 cities, and has since been released in cinemas across Sweden.

Pål created the scripted Spotify original podcast Stammis – a sitcom about a group of young adults meeting at a bar, gossiping, and joking. Starring Vera Herngren, Christoffer Nyqvist, Jacques Karlberg, Tina Pour-Davoy, and Edvin Törnblom, the podcast topped the charts during its two-season run.

His breakthrough in live entertainment came with Ursäkta Live, based on Sweden's biggest podcast Ursäkta. The show sold out arenas across Sweden, aired as a TV special on TV4, and won Best Show of the Year at the Swedish Comedy Awards.

Pål is a partner at Etta Entertainment – a Stockholm-based production company founded by My Blomgren and Lovisa Delehag. It is an artist-driven production company that is behind some of Sweden's most celebrated live shows.
