Peter Arrhenius
Peter Arrhenius is a screenwriter who has been working in a wide variety of genres during his long career. As long as the character comes first, he is equally comfortable with political thrillers like
Conspiracy of Silence as he is with comedy shows like Welcome to Sweden or family feature films such as Lasse-Maja: Skuggor över Valleby.
Peter usually tries to challenge established truths, finding beauty in the ugly and darkness in the light. He is not afraid to leave the viewer with moral questions that are not always easy to answer – regardless of whether the viewer is 5, 55 or 105 years old. Peter is also the author of fifteen books for children and young adults.
Peter was the head writer for the Netflix series Clark (2022), directed by Jonas Åkerlund. He also wrote the award-winning feature Det är något som inte stämmer (2025), directed by Martina Haag. One of his upcoming writing projects is the feature Permafrost.
