Roland Ulvselius develops exciting new TV series that connect with the audience. He is a firm believer in strong concepts and dynamic entertainment.

He started as a stand-up comedian in the 1990s, capping off his Swedish career with appearances in Släng dig i brunnen before moving to London, where he worked as a comedian for two years. Returning home, he focused on his main passion in life – writing. Establishing himself as one of Sweden’s premier comedy writers, he has written more than 22 different comedy shows for Swedish television as well as five hit web series, three of which he also created.

After gaining valuable experience as a developer at Tre Vänner and SF Studios, he decided to leave comedy for drama and thrillers. Together with Ola Norén, he created Rig 45, a hit thriller series for Viaplay that achieved worldwide distribution by ITV. Roland wrote episodes for Rig 45 and served as co-showrunner with Ola Norén.

In the summer of 2023, Roland published his debut novel with Ola Norén: Dalai Larsson. Roland is currently the head writer of two drama series for SVT.
