SEBASTIAN ANTONIOS JOHANSSON is a screenwriter from Luleå in the north of Sweden, with roots from Överkalix and Litohoro, Greece. In 2011, he graduated from the bachelor's program “Screenplay for Film and TV” at Högskolan Dalarna and has over 10 years of experience working within the film and TV industry.
In 2021, “Alla utom vi/Two of Us”, a drama-comedy about a couple struggling to become pregnant, written by Sebastian and Erik Jerka Johansson, premiered on Discovery. Sebastian worked as head writer and episode writer on season 2 of “Alla utom vi/Two of Us”, which is now in post-production. He was storyline and episode writer for “Partisan” season 2, which premiered on Viaplay in May 2022. Most recently, he wrote the storyline for Morden i Sandhamn - Esther, which premiered on C More in April 2023.
At the moment, Sebastian is storywriting a video game at Hazelight Studios. He is also headwriting and screenwriting a new green-lit TV-series, and has two original TV-series in development with production companies.
Sebastian enjoys writing stories in a wide range of genres such as drama, comedy and fantasy. Sebastian’s open personality and imagination is reflected in his mixed upbringing: the industrial winter town of Luleå with the northern lights and rural mentality, combined with the vibrant culture by the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean. He is drawn to stories that are thought-provoking and depicts existential subjects with warmth, humor, honesty and tragedy at the same time.
