SIGGE EKLUND is a director/author/screenwriter/producer/editor and podcaster. Sigge debuted in 1999 with his novel Synanthrope, published by Albert Bonniers. He has since then released the novels It’s 1988 and it Just Started Snowing, Waltz of the Werewolf, The Last Myth and Into the Labyrinth and three other books, and is today one of our most well acclaimed writers. His books have been translated into 16 languages.  

In 2015 he launched his own radio talk show on Sirius XM in New York, with his brother Fredrik Eklund (American TV star of Bravo’s “Million Dollar Listing"). 

Sigge is also part of the comedy duo “Alex and Sigge”. Every week, we are invited to listen to the duo’s humorous, smart and political thoughts and anecdotes in “Alex & Sigge’s podcast”, which started in 2012 and has over 300 000 listeners every week, Alex and Sigge’s podcast is continuously on the top lists and has won the Grand Swedish Podcast Prize three years in a row. 

Sigge has also worked as a screenwriter for several TV shows and plays. Among them, The Swedish airing of the Academy Awards, Henrik Schyffert’s and Johan Rheborg’s reality show ”Alla är fotografer/Everyone is a Photographer”, Alex and Sigge’s play ”Meningen med Livet/Meaning of Life, directed by Peter Settman, and the documentary ”Älska Mig/Love me”. He is also a longtime collaborator with the TV host duo “Filip & Fredrik”, for whom he has produced several TV shows.

Sigge is now directing his first feature film and we are so proud to welcome him as a director and screenwriter represented by Albatros Agency.
