A psychological domestic noir thriller set in Stockholm and Paris.

Two women are being psychologically abused by the same man at the same time. Both of them realise that the only way out is through each other. Psychological abuse that seems innocuous at first can be utterly corrosive as time goes on. And no one is safe.

After a recent divorce, psychologist Clara von Essen wants nothing more than to be single for a while and work on herself. But when she meets Maximilian Malmström, he seems to be everything she’s ever wanted in a man, and her walls come tumbling down. But as they get closer to each other, the perfect man starts showing newer, and darker sides of himself. At the same time, Clara starts working with a new patient: an unstable young woman called Hedda.

Hedda’s life with her first husband, Carl, isn’t the stuff of dreams. After a suicide attempt, she starts seeing a therapist. Clara. She also meets a man who gives her the strength to leave Carl – Maximilian. After a couple of sessions, Clara realizes who Hedda is. Hedda was aware from the beginning.

The women are aware of each other, but not willing to admit it to each other. They lie to each other to save themselves. To find a way out. Soon a suicide takes place. But was it really a suicide?
